Using the UNIDENSE® loading process combined with purpose designed differential pressure measuring equipment, CR International performs loading of reformer tubes globally. This system is much more efficient in productivity than other loading systems also eliminating the requirement to weigh the catalyst loaded into each tube.
Unidense technology reformer loading is a method used to assist with faster loading of reformer tubes with no pre-socking of the catalyst required. Breakage of the catalyst is avoided with no vibration of the tubes necessary. This loading technique assists with obtaining uniform pressure drop, less waste of catalyst and no bridging or extra voids with a high uniform density along the full length of the tubes.
