CR International has roots which go back almost 35 years. To the Middle East and Asia during the days when they were building new refineries and petrochemical plants as quickly as they could think up the idea. Australia and New Zealand were the original bases for what became the Contract Resources Group. However, Australasia had a comparatively small oil industry base and that led CR to the new growth regions.
Contract Resources was involved in commissioning many new plants, all using the very latest processing technology. We were on the ground providing a range of commissioning services including mechanical, catalyst handling, specialist cleaning and inspection services. We were often the first company called on to assist with start-up problems and then again when operational & mechanical problems occurred.
While focusing on catalytic reactors and providing pre-commission services, catalyst changeouts, reactor modifications and repairs, the Group developed expertise in a wide range of services. Our ability to work safely in hazardous conditions and develop unique and efficient cost-effective solutions in the field became a benchmark in the oil and gas industry.
From the outset it was the quality of Contract Resources staff which set the company apart from competitors and today nothing has changed with CR International, people are still our greatest asset.
